Delta Air Lines

is continuing with its expansion at Austin–Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). The Atlanta-based carrier will introduce new service to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) in New Orleans, Louisiana, early next year.

It comes as the airline is planning to begin flights to Harlingen, Texas, from AUS this fall. This summer, Delta is operating its largest schedule ever at AUS, while legacy competitor American Airlines has focused on downsizing its presence at the airport.
