MH370 flight: Ten years ago, Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 took off from Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur International Airport headed for Beijing. After that, it vanished from the radar for an unexplained reason.

With 227 passengers and 12 crew members on board, the incident involving MH370 has been recorded as the deadliest case of aircraft disappearance in history. As of right now, 239 of the passengers are believed to be dead.

A scientist says they have found MH370. The Malaysian Airlines flight that vanished in 2014—where is it now?
Documentaries have been produced to sort through the various theories that have been put forth regarding the plane’s fate. None of them, though, have received conclusive proof. As of late, an Australian specialist says he has determined the flight MH370’s location.

Vincent Lyne from the University of Tasmania’s Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies posted his location guess for the plane on LinkedIn. His article, titled “Mystery of MH370 Solved by Science,” described a track that the FBI and other organizations rejected as “irrelevant.”

His calculations indicate that MH370 is located “where the Pilot-in-Command’s home simulator’s flight path intersects with Penang airport’s longitude.”

According to Lyne, the plane is located in a nearly 20,000-foot-deep trench in the Southern Indian Ocean near the eastern end of the Broken Ridge.

Verification of that location is urgently needed. Officials and search firms will decide whether or not to search it, but science indicates where MH370 is, and we know why the previous searches were unsuccessful,” he wrote in his post.
