Summary
- International capacity at LAS to reach 104% by year-end.
- WestJet tops in flights, seats, and ASMs from Las Vegas.
- Air Canada offers the most flights and seats internationally from LAS.
Only a few days ago, news broke out that the international capacity at Las Vegas was expected to go as high as it was before Covid-19. Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), in particular, is expected to reach 104% of pre-pandemic levels.
All the global destinations that are served by this airport (barring Canada) are also expected to exceed full capacity. In light of such news, one might wonder which airlines operate the highest number of international flights from Las Vegas. Let’s find out.

Mexico’s largest airline in terms of the number of passengers transported – Volaris (Y4) – has 2,032 flights from Las Vegas in 2024. While Volaris does offer flights from LAS to GDL and MEX (and therefore, is a competitor with Viva Aerobus and Aeromexico, as we’ve discussed above), Volaris is also offering flights to Tijuana International Airport (TIJ) from October this year.

Volaris, Aeromexico, and Viva Aerobus all offer one-stop flights from LAX to MEX and GDL, too. While all these carriers have a one-stop flight with a stopover in Mexico City (MEX), Viva Aerobus also offers a stop at Monterrey (MTY).
