Milan Bergamo Airport is pleased to announce that Aeroitalia will significantly increase its operations to Rome Fiumicino Airport starting from the 2024/25 winter season, commencing on October 27, 2024. The carrier will now operate four daily flights between the two airports each workday from Monday to Friday, and a daily service over the weekends utilising its ATR 72 aircraft, for a total of 22-weekly flights.
This expanded service marks a substantial growth in connectivity, representing an increase of over 100% in both the number of flights and overall capacity per month compared to the 2024 summer season. The flights have been strategically scheduled to cater to both business and leisure travellers, with two departures during the busy morning period, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening.
Aeroitalia remains the only airline offering nonstop flights between Milan Bergamo Airport and Rome Fiumicino, solidifying its commitment to enhancing connectivity between these two crucial Italian hubs. Initially launched during the 2022 winter season with a single daily flight, Aeroitalia’s service has seen steady growth, now reaching four daily departures every workday.
