Safair Named Most Punctual Airline in MENA Region
Safair, the South Africa-based low-cost carrier, has been named the most punctual airline in the MENA (Middle East and Africa) region by aviation analytics firm Cirium.
Safair, established in 1965, is one of Africa’s foremost specialist aviation companies offering a wide range of specialist airlift services
The annual ranking, which evaluates the on-time performance of airlines and airports, recognizes Safair for its outstanding consistency in maintaining on-time departures and arrivals.

Cirium’s Annual Ranking Highlights Airline Performance
Cirium’s ranking is based on extensive data collection from airlines and airports across the globe.
The analytics firm defines “on-time” as a flight that departs or arrives within 14 minutes and 59 seconds of its scheduled time.
Safair’s recognition comes after a year of impressive punctuality, placing the airline ahead of Oman Air and Royal Jordanian, which rounded out the top three in the MENA region.

Global Rankings: Safair Misses Out on World Top 10
While Safair earned regional acclaim, it fell short of making the list of the world’s top 10 most punctual airlines. The global ranking was led by Aeromexico, followed by Saudia and Delta Air Lines. The complete list of the world’s top 10 most punctual airlines is as follows:
