Qatar Airways has resumed flights to Damascus International Airport, marking the airline’s return after a hiatus of over 13 years. Qatar Airways plans to operate three weekly flights between Doha and Damascus on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with each ticket priced between USD 300 and USD 400 on Wego.

The airline is currently operating stopover flights from other destinations as well.

A daily flight is scheduled between Damascus and Sharjah, with ticket prices ranging from USD 800 to USD 1000 on Wego. Cham Wings has also announced the return of Damascus – Muscat route, with current price observed from USD 900 on Wego.

Royal Jordanian

Royal Jordanian conducted a test flight to Damascus on January 7 as part of renewed regional connections.

Turkish Airlines

Commercial flights between Syria and Türkiye are set to resume within a week, as announced by Ashhad al-Salibi, head of Syria’s General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport.
