London: Outgoing UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak conceded defeat to opposition Labour Party in general elections on Friday. Sunak said, “The Labour Party has won this general election and I have called Sir Keir Starmer to congratulate him on his victory.”

Sunak accepted responsibility for he Conservative Party’s historic defeat. “The British people have delivered a sobering verdict tonight, there is much to learn… and I take responsibility for the loss,” Sunak was quoted as saying by BBC.

Ryanair trolled outgoing PM with a hilarious post on X. The airline offered Sunak a seat on their flights in case.

Ryanair tweeted, “Don’t worry @RishiSunak we’ve got a seat for you,” along with a photo a Sunak photoshopped on flight seats.

The Labour Party has won more than 400 out of the 650 seats in the Commons while the Conservatives are on 108.

The Labour Party is expected to win with a huge majority in the parliamentary election, marking the end of the Tory regime after 14 years.
