Airlines within the Lufthansa Group have extended the suspension of flights to Tehran and Tel Aviv until September 4 due to the escalating situation in the Middle East. Flights to Beirut have been suspended until September 30, says Lufthansa’s press service.

“In light of the current situation, Lufthansa Group is once again adjusting its flight schedule. Flights to Tel Aviv and Tehran are suspended through September 4, while flights to Beirut remain suspended through September 30,” the airline stated.

Despite these suspensions, Lufthansa has resumed flights to Amman and Erbil, the administrative center of Iraqi Kurdistan, as of August 27. The airline will use a northern corridor in Iraqi airspace for flights to Erbil. Lufthansa is offering affected passengers a wide range of rebooking and cancellation options. “We regret the inconvenience caused to our customers due to the current situation,” the airline’s press service added.

Previously, Lufthansa Group had suspended flights to Tehran and Tel Aviv until September 2.
