This special abode can be found in the charming town of Kempster, Wisconsin. Joe Draeger has turned a wild dream into reality by transforming a 1941 DC-3 World War II
-era plane into a fantastic Airbnb! Inspired by a unique design he spotted in Venezuela, Draeger teamed up with contractor Gary Fleischman to create something truly special. After snagging the plane for just $10,000 from Basler Turbo Conversion Company, they embarked on a thrilling 19-month journey to remodel the aircraft into a cozy living space.

With a $50,000 investment, the duo expertly transformed the plane, ensuring it retained its historical charm while adding modern comforts. Elevating the aircraft on stilts gives guests the exhilarating sensation of being airborne, and they even crafted motion-activated propellers from large ceiling fans that spin and light up when guests approach!
