The investigations have historically fallen under the authority of the federal government, but an agreement between the U.S. Department of Transportation and Drummond gives him the authority to review and resolve the complaints, according to a news release from the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office. “Airline passengers deserve to be treated fairly and to receive the services for which they pay,” Drummond said in a statement. “Our hope is that this airline complaint form will improve ease for Oklahomans to lodge a complaint directly with the Attorney General’s office. Attorney General Gentner Drummond announced that the online form was created amid elevated levels of complaints from consumers about flight disruptions, lack of refunds, and lost or delayed luggage.
