Featuring all six branches
The airline pointed out that the new livery, which joins the other three ‘Honoring Those Who Serve’ liveries, features symbolic imagery representing all six branches of the US Armed Forces, including the Air Force (USAF), Army (USA), Navy (USN), Marine Corps (USMC), Coast Guard (USCG), and Space Force (USSF).
According to Alaska Airlines, the newest livery design was created in partnership with Boeing and in addition to the symbolic imagery, features a new patriotic paint scheme, which includes a star-spangled design and a heartfelt message on the side of the fuselage, serves as a showcase of gratitude for those who have served the US Armed Forces.
“Every time this aircraft takes to the skies, it serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by US military personnel. We hope our guests, employees and aviation enthusiasts alike will feel a sense of pride and appreciation when they see this aircraft in the air and on the tarmac.”

16th Fallen Soldier Cart
In addition, Alaska Airlines has introduced and delivered its 16th Fallen Soldier Cart. The cart was ferried to Nashville International Airport (BNA) on June 26, and the dedicated carts were designed and crafted by employees working at Alaska Airlines Maintenance and Engineering department.
The carts are a respectful symbol and are used to transport the remains of fallen soldiers, which ensures they are treated with dignity and respect. All airlines operating to/from BNA will be able to use the special cart, with the Fallen Soldier Cart already having served in its first mission, transporting the remains of a USN veteran.

“Our hope is that this cart will also bring comfort to the family, friends and loved ones during that very difficult time.”
