Moore was appointed president of UPS Airlines in October 2023. He joined UPS as a flight safety intern in 1993 and previously served as the president of UPS aircraft maintenance and engineering for seven of his thirty years with the company.

UPS expanded its existing agreement with the United States Postal Service in April to become its primary air cargo provider after the transition period with FedEx is completed in the fourth quarter.

The express company remains focused on its fleet strategy as it continues to replace its MD-11Fs with 767-300 freighters after it began removing the tri-engine freighters from service in 2023.

UPS grew its 747-8F fleet to thirty aircraft when it acquired two ex-Qatar Airways units (37564 and 63199) from Boeing this year.

Cargo Facts Symposium 2024 will also feature fireside chats with Atlas Air CEO Michael Steen and ATSG CEO Mike Berger.
