This fall, Avelo Airlines will start offering new nonstop service between Rochester and Charlotte, North Carolina, as well as Central Florida, it announced July 24.

Beginning Oct. 25, the discount carrier will fly on Mondays and Fridays between Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport and Lakeland International Airport, between Tampa and Orlando.

Starting Nov. 8, it will fly on Mondays and Fridays between Rochester and Concord-Padgett Regional Airport, near Charlotte.

Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft will be used on the routes.

How much are flights from Rochester to North Carolina, Florida?

One-way fares from Rochester will start at $62.

Avelo currently offers nonstop service between Rochester and North Carolina’s Raleigh-Durham International Airport and South Carolina’s Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.
