The Airbus A380 is not a rare sight in the United States. Airlines operating this superjumbo have scheduled more than 800 flights to the US in August 2024, according to aviation analytics company Cirium.

New York and Los Angeles will experience the most traffic from the Airbus A380 in August 2024. According to Cirium data, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will be the most frequently serviced destination by airlines. Six airlines are scheduled to operate 257 flights.

Notably, both South Korean airlines, Korean Air and Asiana Airlines, will offer the most Airbus A380 flights to LAX, followed by

According to the data, a total of four airlines will operate to JFK, with a combined number of scheduled flights in August totaling 179. Not surprisingly, Emirates will operate the majority of these flights.

In addition to IAD, Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) are popular long-haul destinations for the Airbus A380 superjumbo.
Both British Airways and Lufthansa plan to operate 31 flights to BOS in August 2024. British Airways will utilize its Airbus A380 from its base at London Heathrow Airport (LHR), while Lufthansa will operate from Munich Airport (MUC).
