Emirates announced that King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is the first capital city in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) to be served by its newly-retrofitted B777 fleet.

The refurbished aircraft offers the carrier’s all-new Business Class cabin and highly popular Premium Economy seats. 

The four-class Emirates Boeing 777 has 24 Premium Economy seats arranged in a 2-4-2 layout with 6-way adjustable headrests for added comfort and space. Meanwhile, the improved Business Class cabin offers more privacy, with 38 seats in a spacious 1-2-1 configuration, giving all passengers direct aisle access, a mini-bar and multiple charging ports, among other features.
