Delta Air Lines
will offer its largest-ever schedule from its biggest base,

Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport
(ATL), for summer 2025. This will allow travelers to visit more destinations on increased frequencies and enhanced premium offerings. Next Summer, Delta will offer 1.1 million weekly seats from ATL, which will correspond to 968 daily flights to 215 domestic and international destinations.

With its latest announcement of its biggest-ever offering in Atlanta, it will account for 75 additional daily departures compared to Summer 2024.

Its international network from the Georgian capital has grown
to 66 international destinations worldwide, including Naples and Brussels, with additional frequencies to Rome
, Zurich, Barcelona, Athens, Cancun, Barbados
, Cucacao, and Toronto. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens celebrated the announcement as reported in the airline’s press release:

As our hometown airline and the state’s largest private employer, Delta plays an integral role in our economy through workforce opportunities, community investments and meaningful partnerships.”

Delta’s Summer 2025 schedule will reaffirm Atlanta
as the world’s largest airline hub. The carrier will fly its largest-ever transatlantic schedule next year, with Italy a key focus on the airline’s latest European ambitions. Travelers departing from the Atlanta airport will have many Italian ports, including Catania (Sicily), Naples, Rome, and Milan
.

For domestic travelers, Delta will increase services across the United States
, with 20% more intra-state seats to and from Savannah, Augusta, Albany, Brunswick, Columbus, and Valdosta.

With 75 additional daily departures, Delta is committed to improving its premium offering. 41,000 daily premium seats, including Delta One, first class, Delta Premium Select, and Delta Comfort+, will see this premium capacity added to its most popular high-value routes to local and international tourist destinations.

Atlanta has continued to be a key component of Delta’s success and remains the airline’s operations center. Its operations at Georgian Airport make up 70% of all passenger traffic.

9% year-on-year increase in premium offering

Delta reiterated that next summer will see an impressive 9% year-on-year increase in premium seating. This commitment to elevated travel experiences enhances the everyday journey for business and leisure travelers with top-tier services and spacious cabins.

For the Atlanta-based airline, the improved offering has been enabled by 87% of all ATL departures now operated by the airline’s mainline aircraft, an increase from 79% pre-pandemic.

In the last decade, Delta has spent more than $12 billion on modernizing its network hubs, and in Atlanta, Delta has been a key contributor to the airport’s $10.8 billion redevelopment program. This expansion in ATL saw the improvement and growth of Concourse D, and a new Delta Sky Club
lounge will open here by summer next year.
