Fiji Airways has announced it will expand its Nadi-Adelaide service from two to three flights a week from April 2025.

The flights will depart Nadi every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 0730 and arrive in Adelaide at 1135.

They depart Adelaide again at 1235 and arrive back in Nadi at 2015.

“The Fiji flights are fantastic for our market, both as a wonderful holiday destination and as a one-stop connection with the US west coast,” said Adelaide Airport managing director, Brenton Cox.

“Flights will arrive in Adelaide late morning and depart shortly after midday, so it’s a family friendly timeslot and avoids an overnight flight between the two cities.”

“The flights also offer good connections via Nadi with the airline’s North American schedule, providing another option for South Australians heading to the US, and indeed US travellers heading to SA.”

Fiji Airways will continue to operate its 170-seat Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft to Adelaide, featuring eight business class recliners and 162 economy class seats.

“North America is a key international market for our state, so having another easy one-stop connection with Fiji Airways will make South Australia an even more enticing destination,” said South Australia tourism minister, Zoe Bettison.
