There were 190 passengers inside and seven crew members on board, a Frontier Airlines statement says.

SAN DIEGO — A Frontier Airlines flight that departed from San Diego appeared to catch fire as the plane was landing Saturday afternoon at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. 

Just after 3:15 p.m. pilots inside detected smoke and declared an emergency, according to a statement by the airline. There were 190 passengers inside and seven crew members on board, Frontier’s statement says. 

The airline reports there were no injuries.

Cell phone video by X user @TylerHerrick showed flames and plumes of smoke in the aircraft’s undercarriage as it made contact with the runway. 

Frontier says the aircraft landed safely and everyone on board was evacuated via “airstairs.”

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
