Caribbean: Caribbean Airlines announced the relief flights for passengers affected by the cancellation of services of BW280 and BW281 due to the passage of the Tropical Storm Philippe. The flights were cancelled on October 3, 2023.
The re-accommodation services of the flights will be operated on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. The schedule of the relief flights has also been announced.
Schedule of relief flights
- The flight BW 3280 will fly on the route from Port of Spain, Trinidad to VC Bird International Airport, Antigua. The flight was cancelled on October 3, 2023. The departure time of the flight is 9: 20 am, while the arrival time is 11: 30 am.
- The flight number BW3280 will fly on the route from VC Bird International Airport, Antigua to Robert L Bradshaw Airport, St Kitts. The flight will depart from Antigua at 12: 10 pm, while arrive in St Kitts at 12: 40 pm.
- The flight with the number BW3281 will fly on the route from Robert L Bradshaw International Airport, St Kitts to VC Bird International Airport, Antigua. The departure time is 1: 20 pm and the arrival time is 1: 50 pm.
- The flight with the number BW3281 will fly on the route from VC Bird International Airport to Port of Spain. The departure time is 2: 30 pm and the arrival time is 4: 40 pm.
Caribbean Airlines also advised customers to kindly update their contact information via their official website to receive automatic notifications, promptly and accurately.
The flights have been cancelled due to the passage of Tropical Storm Philippe. The passengers have been affected as heavy rainfall caused extreme havoc around the Caribbean region including Dominica, St Kitts and Nevis, Martinique and Antigua and Barbuda.
The flights on the route from Trinidad to Antigua and then St Kitts have been cancelled.

Caribbean has been hard hit by Tropical Storm Philippe. It has caused massive havoc and destruction around Dominica, St Kitts and Nevis and Antigua and Barbuda.
The Met Service has also issued Tropical Storm Warnings, Flash Flood Warning for the Leeward islands.
