Kam Air is celebrating its 20 anniversary by adding “20 years in the sky” sub-titles on its fleet.

The airline was founded on August 31, 2003 by Zamari Kamgar.

It was the first privately owned passenger airline in Afghanistan.

Its first flight took off on November 8, 2003 on a route from Kabul to Herat and Mazar-e Sarif, using a Boeing 727.
