Currently, the card has a limited-time offer that entitles a bonus of 60,000 miles if you spend $3,000 in the first 90 days. Let’s check out the other top benefits:
1
Companion Fare
Alaska Airlines offers a unique once-per-year benefit called the Companion Fare for holders of its credit cards. Eligible passengers can book an additional ticket for just $99 plus taxes, potentially saving hundreds of dollars. The Alaska Airlines Visa is justified with just a $95 annual fee, with travelers receiving its total value back in this discount alone.
$6,000 minimum spend
The primary cardholder can qualify for a companion fare code every 12 months from the card anniversary date. This coincides with the card’s annual fee being billed, and the holder must spend a minimum of $6,000 annually to be eligible. Once awarded the coupon, you can add a one-way or round trip for one passenger for just $99 base fare, plus taxes and fees. Multiple stopover itineraries are not valid with this benefit. Once the minimum spend is reached, the Companion Fare code will be deposited within six to eight weeks.
