Canadian flag carrier Air Canada has revealed a significant promotion for anyone booking flights to Australia. The Star Alliance carrier serves both Sydney and Brisbane nonstop from its hub in Vancouver and is offering savings to passengers who book a roundtrip flight this month.
How to earn the bonus miles and savings
The first step to taking advantage of the savings is to register for the promotion on the Air Canada website. The savings only apply to new bookings between now and Friday, May 24th. Flights can take place anytime before April 30th, 2025. When checking out, passengers can enter the promotion code 2024AUCOOP to automatically save on the cost of their flight.

The $300 can be applied to the base fares in Economy (including Economy Basic/Standard/Flex), Premium Economy, and Business Class when booking on the carrier’s website. The discount, which is based on a roundtrip itinerary consisting of a $150 reduction in each direction, does not cover additional surcharges.
The offer only applies to flights operated by Air Canada (including flights operating as Air Canada Express and Air Canada Rouge) and Air Canada codeshare flights operated by Virgin Australia and Air New Zealand. The carrier currently serves Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD) and Brisbane Airport (BNE) in Queensland with nonstop flights from Vancouver (YVR).
More miles for next time
In addition to the cost savings, Air Canada also offers members of its Aeroplan frequent flyer program additional bonus miles on flights to Australia. Membership to the program is free, and there is no requirement to have been a member for a specific amount of time before redeeming the offer.
