Biggest Delta lounge
Passengers eligible for Delta Air Lines’ lounge services at LaGuardia Airport will be greeted with an expanded facility starting at 05:00 on May 18. The airline had a Terminal C ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday ahead of its official opening on Saturday.
The entire project includes upgraded departures and arrivals halls, security checkpoints, many new gates, and a larger, highly anticipated Sky Club lounge. While some work remains, it will be the largest Delta Sky Club in the system.

The lounge can be accessed by turning left past security, with the entrance situated around 100 feet from there. The entrance is quite striking, with a blue backdrop and kiosks for self-check-in.
An escalator or elevator ride is needed to go to the lounge, which has an interior that evokes New York City at the turn of the 20th century, with features such as harlequin-patterned screens and rich, warm metals. The facility’s unique artwork also imparts a refreshed look to the space and reflects New York City’s dominance in the international art scene.

Once complete, the club will sprawl over 34,000 square feet, accommodating 600 guests. It will also feature a gourmet kitchen, a premium bar, two food buffets, and three beverage bars. That’s not all; a future addition to the Club will see the completion of a year-round Sky Deck featuring great outdoor views.
