Frontier Airlines has given a Texas-sized addition to flights at Omaha’s Eppley Airfield.
The carrier kicked off a flight between the Nebraska’s airport to and from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport on Friday. Frontier will fly the route three times per week, the airline carrier announced in a press release.
To promote the new route, Frontier is offering one-way tickets for as low as $19. People can purchase tickets at that price until 11 p.m. on June 1. Tickets must be purchased at least seven days before a flight. The $19 tickets will be available for flights through July 1.
Frontier offers year-round flights between Omaha and Denver in addition to the new Dallas/Fort Worth route. It also offers flights to and from Las Vegas except in July. Frontier flights between Omaha and Orlando will return in February, an Omaha Airport Authority spokesman said.
