Contrary to recent rumors circulating on social media platforms, Russian low-cost carrier Pobeda has firmly denied any intentions to suspend its international flight operations. A source closely associated with the Ministry of Transport refuted the claims, stating that the information regarding the halt of international flights from July is inaccurate.
The airline spokesperson emphasized that Pobeda remains committed to its scheduled operations and reassured passengers that there are no plans to cancel international flights. “We are operating according to our established timetable, and there is no truth to the rumors suggesting otherwise,” the spokesperson stated.
The rumors emerged after certain Telegram channels speculated about potential flight suspensions by Russian airlines abroad in response to recent sanctions. Earlier this month, the United States added Pobeda to its list of sanctioned entities, alleging the airline’s involvement in activities that purportedly support Russia’s military-industrial complex.
