Adam Hadwin is having another memorable Canadian Open.

Last year, the Moose Jaw-born Hadwin was hilariously tackled by an overzealous course security member while trying to participate in a champagne celebration.

This year, Hadwin unexpectedly found himself in a social media showdown with Air Canada ahead of Thursday’s first round for the 2024 Canadian Open.

“I know most of you feel the same way I am right now when airlines mess up,” Hadwin tweeed.

“I’ve been dealing with @AirCanada all day trying to get me clubs out of Denver. Been told one thing only for something else to happen.

“At this point they have sat in Denver for 20 hours without making it. Onto another flight to Toronto. Unacceptable.

“It’s not as if Denver and Toronto are remote. Airlines need to do better.”

Of course, that wasn’t the end of it.

Hadwin’s wife, Jessica, also had serious airline issues and was forced to turn social media into a very public platform.

“I am not going to publicly complain about the airlines like my husband did,” Jessica tweeted. “But just know that if I did it would be because it’s been over 2 hours sitting on the tarmac with no AC and the plane is hot AF and I’m in the last row next to the bathroom and it’s starting to smell.”

Her next tweet was even more of a downer.

“First they came for adam’s golf clubs then they came for my skydiving surveillance experience, and I am sad to say I will not make it,” Jessica tweeted.

“@united holding us 3 hours on the tarmac then cancelling the flight as soon as we stepped off. Guess I’m not better than @ahadwingolf.

“Thank you @GolfCanada and @RBCCanadianOpen for the incredible invite. Next year!”

The 36-year-old Hadwin attended the University of Louisville and turned pro in 2009.

He’s played in 259 PGA Tour events and has one win, the 2017 Valspar Championship.

Hadwin has finished in the top-five 17 times and earned more than $22 million on the tour.

While his wife might not make it to this year’s Canadian Open, Hadwin did finally have some good airlines news to post.

A meme for “Reunited and it feels so good” was placed next to a photo of what appeared to be his located golf clubs.

“Good luck!!” one fan tweeted.

“Are they in good shape?” a second fan posted.

“Is that a priority tag on it, too?!” a third fan said.
