PLAY Airlines has entered into a strategic partnership with airline technology provider GO7, with the aim to enhance CX and global connectivity, while making travel more seamless for passengers.

PLAY Airlines has entered into a strategic partnership with GO7 to broaden its route offerings across its key regions – Iceland, Europe and North America – via its Keflavík Airport hub. This collaboration aims to enhance the overall passenger experience and global connectivity, making travel more seamless for passengers.

“As part of our commitment to providing affordable and accessible air travel options, we are delighted to join GO7’s W2 Network,” said Tatiana Shirokova, Head of Distribution, PLAY Airlines. “This partnership aligns with our mission to offer travellers a seamless and enjoyable travel experience while maintaining our focus on affordability and convenience.”

The partnership means PLAY Airlines is now available for sale on the Global Distribution Systems through GO7’s W2 global ticketing network. This integration now allows passengers to enjoy even more benefits, such as complimentary stopovers in Iceland on all transatlantic flights, enabling them to explore two countries in a single journey. GO7’s innovative W2 platform means booking PLAY flights is simpler through the Business Travel Managers and through the Online Travel Agencies, as well as for any travel agency’s preferred GDS. Flights are listed under GO7’s W1 marketing carrier code and available for ticketing globally under W2’s ticketing designator code.

“We are thrilled to welcome PLAY Airlines to our W2 network,” said Peer Winter, Chief Distribution Officer, GO7. “Our collaboration represents a shared commitment to providing travellers with unparalleled convenience by air travel. By integrating PLAY Airlines’ route network into our platform, we aim to enhance the overall travel experience for passengers and facilitate seamless global connectivity across key destinations.”
