In response to rising demand from North America and Asia Pacific, Taiwan-based luxury carrier STARLUX Airlines has announced it is expanding its route network and adding Hong Kong as its newest destination. Effective July 16, with the deployment of its state-of-the-art A350-900 and A330-900neo wide-body aircraft, STARLUX will launch two daily non-stop flights between Taipei and Hong Kong. North American travelers can soon fly with ease and style from Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle to Hong Kong – one of Asia’s most vibrant cities – via Taipei.
Reservations for the new route are now open for booking. US-based passengers can reserve flights departing from Los Angeles or San Francisco for July 16 and beyond, and from Seattle, for August 16 and after. Connecting flights for the Taipei-Hong Kong routes will observe the following schedule:
Flight No. | Route | Days | Departure Time | Arrival Time |
JX232 | HKG-TPE | Daily | 10:55 | 12:30 |
JX235 | TPE-HKG | 16:50 | 18:30 | |

“STARLUX’s new route not only reflects our growth strategy but also the importance of Hong Kong as a major aviation hub. Now, we’ll be able to connect US passengers to one of Asia’s busiest airports, providing opportunities for business, tourism, or family reunions,” said STARLUX CEO Glenn Chai. “Asia’s World City is among the top 20 most visited global destinations, indicating its popularity among US and international travelers. It boasts a rich culture, diverse culinary landscape, iconic landmarks, and bustling shopping districts.”
