Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) welcomed Delta Air Lines’ first nonstop flight to Taipei from the U.S. on June 6. Ahead of a potentially record-breaking summer, passengers now have even more options for direct access to international destinations as a record 51 services take flight from SEA. A ribbon-cutting ceremony before boarding featured remarks from Delta President Glen Hauenstein alongside Port of Seattle Commission Vice President Toshiko Hasegawa and Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Seattle Daniel Kuo-ching Chen.

Delta now operates nearly 170 daily departures from SEA to more than 50 destinations worldwide. SEA serves as a crucial coastal hub for Delta and a key gateway for the airline’s operations across the Pacific, which — with the addition of TPE — features routes to Incheon (ICN), Tokyo (HND), and Shanghai (PVG).
