SFO Airport Director Ivar C. Satero commented,
“We are thrilled to welcome nonstop United Airlines flights from SFO to Monterrey this fall. For more than 80 years, United has been offering SFO travelers more destinations than any other airline, and this new service allows United customers from Asia to connect seamlessly through SFO to the Business Capital of Mexico.”
United already flies to Monterrey from both Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and Houston Intercontinental (IAH) under its United Express brand, as well as offering a mainline service to Houston. According to data from aviation analytics firm Cirium, it offers five daily flights from Houston and a daily service from Chicago.
Monterrey has several other direct US connections served by the likes of American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and Viva Aerobus, including destinations such as Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami and Orlando.
