Damascus, SANA-On board Syrian Airlines, the first revert flight of Syrian pilgrims arrived at Damascus International Airport in the early morning on Saturday coming from Medina Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This is the first flight of the Syrian pilgrims who are coming back homeland after performing the Hajj rituals, Director general of civil aviation, Basem Mansour said in a statement adding that there were about 156 pilgrims onboard.

in Turn, Director General of Syrian Airlines, Eng. Hatem Kabbas, said that about 10,900 people were transported, and that the process of returning the pilgrims will continue until the sixth of next July.

The first flights of Syrian pilgrims departed on May 28 from Damascus International Airport to Jeddah airport in Saudi Arabia on board Syrian Airways, after an absence of 13 years.
