At the bottom of our list of Air Canada’s most frequently served domestic routes is scheduled flights between Calgary International Airport (YYC) and Vancouver International Airport (YVR), two of Canada’s largest airports. In July, the airline scheduled 520 round trips between the city pair.

On a given day in July, the airline operates up to 10 daily flights from YYC to YVR. The flights are spaced by approximately one hour in the mornings and by two hours in the evening. The airline operates a variety of single-aisle jets on the 90-minute hop, including the Airbus A320 family, Boeing 737 MAX 8, and CRJ-900 aircraft.
The popular route is also operated by WestJet using its Boeing 737-700/800s and low-cost carrier Flair using its Boeing 737 MAX 8s. Air Canada offers 86,294 round-trip seats in July, translating into nearly 27 million Available Seat Miles (ASMs).

On a given day in July, the airline operates up to 14 daily flights from YYZ to YVR. The 4-hour 50 minutes flights are operated using Airbus A220-300s, A321, and Boeing 737 MAX 8 single-aisle aircraft. Over half of daily flights are operated on widebody airliners, including Boeing 777-200LR, 777,300ER, 787-8, and 787-9 Dreamliners.
