Frontier Airlines is one of the United States’ biggest ultra-low-cost carriers. Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Frontier was founded on July 5, 1994, and now serves more than 100 destinations. Its workforce has grown to more than 7,000, and Frontier operates more than 500 flights daily.
Gearing up for the 30th anniversary of operations in Denver, Frontier has launched a sale called 100 Trips Under $30. The sale offers seats on 100 routes for $29 one-way on routes to and from cities like Denver, Orlando, and Las Vegas.
The sale runs through 23:59 Eastern time on June 27th and are only valid for travel on every day except Friday and Sunday through November 19. Blackout dates do apply and are available on Frontier’s website.

Less than two weeks ago, Frontier announced a new route expansion from airports around the nation. The announcement included a route from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. An outdated version of Frontier’s press release was shared with people on its mailing list, stating that the airline was launching a transcontinental route from New York to Los Angeles, but the airline said this was not the case.

In addition to the JFK-LAS route, Frontier is increasing its operations in Sacramento, San Diego, Atlanta, Boston, and more cities.
About a month ago, Frontier announced a significant change to its change fees, eliminating them for good. The airline labeled itself The New Frontier, also changing its pricing and fares. CEO Barry Biffle said,
“Today marks the beginning of a new era for Frontier – one with transparency in our prices, no change fees and the lowest total price. This is ‘The New Frontier’ and we are committed to offering more than the lowest fares – we deliver the best price for all the options you want and the customer support you need, when you need it. No gimmicks, just really low prices and good customer service.”

At the end of April, Frontier announced a significant expansion out of San Juan, Puerto Rico not long after expanding its maintenance agreement in the US territory.
