Aero K Airlines, an ultra-low-cost airline based in the Republic of Korea, has chosen to integrate AMOS and Swiss-AS Cloud Hosting across its fleet of Airbus A320s.
The software integration will contribute to streamlining Aero K Airlines’ operations, increasing efficiency, and reducing overall maintenance costs.
The decision to utilise the software comes after Aero K Airlines said it identified several challenges within its existing MIS and business processes.
These challenges included data manipulation issues that the airline claims were partly due to human factors and partly due to poorly designed software.
While comprehensive user training can mitigate the human factors, professional solutions are required to resolve software-related issues.
To address these challenges, Aero K Airlines chose to migrate from its current MIS to AMOS Airline Edition. Key to this decision was the robust business logic of AMOS, which has been honed over 35 years of service, as well as the continuous evolvement of the software with next-generation technologies, including Flutter, to remain at the forefront of industry advancements.
In addition to the Airline Edition, Aero K Airlines has adopted Swiss-AS Cloud Hosting services; a solution that not only provides the airline with a fully dedicated cloud hosting environment, but also ensures optimal operating conditions, as Aero K Airlines will benefit from AMOS Operational Services (AOS), covering the application and database server administration.
In Son, MIS administrator of Aero K Airlines, said: “Aero K Airlines is enthusiastic about joining the AMOS community and we look forward to a promising future with Swiss Aviation Software Ltd.”
