TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Getting to three cities in Canada from Tampa will get a little easier this winter season. Porter Airlines announced it’s expanding its nonstop service to and from Tampa International Airport.

The airline will take passengers from Tampa to Toronto, Ottawa and Halifax.

The flight to Toronto was seasonal last year, but starting Oct. 27, the airline will offer daily service. A second daily flight will begin on Dec. 13.

Ottawa and Halifax are both new routes being added to Tampa International Airport’s lineup.

The flight to Ottawa, Canada’s capital, will fly up to four times per week starting on Nov. 22. On Dec. 5, travelers can choose between three weekly flights between Tampa and Halifax.

Tampa airport officials said the airline will fly each route with its growing fleet of new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, which offers 132 economy seats in a two-by-two configuration, meaning no middle seats. Porter flights also include free wifi and free beer and wine.
