Parameters Specifications
Length 10.7 m
Wingspan 15.6 m
First Flight 2006
Operational range 833 km
Maximum speed 1,920 km/h

The aircraft is scheduled to perform a flypast during this year’s Air Show on the first and final days of the show. The flypast times are yet to be determined.

The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon is one of the most popular combat aircraft in military aviation. Tens of countries operate the jets, making them the most exciting sight at air shows globally. The Royal Danish Air Force operated 77 F-16A/B aircraft. The Air Force purchased the aircraft in two major batches, both of which were produced in Europe (Belgium and the Netherlands).

Most of those aircraft, including spares, will be used until at least 2025. The Royal Danish Air Force plans to replace those by the F-35 Joint Strike Fighters. But until then, these beautiful and bright red F-16s will surely shine during flying and static displays at the Farnborough Air Show. While flying on all five days, the flypast times remain unannounced.
