Convenient and flexible travel

Private jets offer an exclusive experience and provide a level of comfort and luxury that flying in first class cannot compete with. The airport experience could not be more different.

There are no long waits in queues or invasive security checks. You just need to arrive an hour before departure and you will be immediately checked in. The security and immigration process will be undertaken for you by the staff at the private terminal whilst you relax in the lounge. There is no chaos and it’s stress-free.

Flights can be taken from regional airports, which are much less hassle and easier to get to. Pets are often allowed in the cabin, which is perfect for those moving long distances or wishing to travel with their pets.

They don’t have to travel in the cargo hold like on commercial flights. After your flight, you don’t even have to wait at the baggage claim, you receive your bags immediately on leaving the aircraft. It is all extremely fast and super convenient. It is also possible to change your flight time or even destination if needed.

Luxury onboard

There is no doubt that private jet travel is a luxurious affair. Although private jets can be smaller than commercial aircraft, the furnishings are plush and comfortable, and there is lots of space.

Most have comfortable reclining leather seats that can be made into flat beds or a divan that can be made up into a double bed. There is a spacious and private lavatory (sometimes with a shower) and luxury amenities. Everything you could possibly need is on the aircraft, from cashmere blankets to eye shades, games, first aid supplies, and much more.

There is a large galley where a flight attendant will prepare any food or drinks that you require. You can request any special items prior to your flight, and they will be provided. Most private jets offer complimentary Wi-Fi and an inflight entertainment system. There is also a cabin management system so that you can control the temperature and lighting in the cabin for your comfort level at your convenience.

Private jet, crew and passenger Etiquette

You should arrive at least 30 minutes before the flight to check that you have the necessary documents. If you arrive earlier, you can always wait in the VIP terminal or lounge.

  • If traveling with pets, make sure that you have their documentation.
  • If you have lots of baggage, check with the charter operator that there is enough space.
  • If you have any dietary restrictions or wish to request anything for your flight,, please give the operator 48 hours’ notice.

The inflight experience

You can do as you choose during your flight. Some people prefer to work, others relax, or sleep. One of the pilots or flight attendants may give you a short safety briefing prior to the flight to ensure that you understand the safety protocol. Although there is no specific dress code, it is a good idea to dress smartly for the occasion.

Be courteous and respectful to the crew, and they will do their utmost to make your flight a pleasant one. You can eat or drink whatever you want whenever you want and do as you so wish. The aircraft is at your disposal. You may tip the crew if you wish to receive their service. It is not expected but always appreciated.
