  • When choosing a Breeze Airways bundle, factors like flight length, seating, luggage, and in-flight services should be considered.

Have you noticed how buying an airline ticket has become more complicated recently? There used to be only three choices: first class, business class, and economy class. Since then, many airlines have introduced their version of premium economy, which gives you more legroom and an additional luggage item.

Now, airlines like Cottonwood Heights, Utah-headquartered Breeze Airways have developed what they call “bundles,” which offer popular add-ons for a single price. Bundels eliminate the need to pay separately for each additional add-on and are usually less expensive than paying for them one at a time.

Breeze Airways offers passengers four bundles to choose from

Each airline has its own unique bundles, and low-cost carrier Breeze Airways is no different, offering passengers a choice of four bundles:

  • No Flex Fare
  • Nice
  • Nicer
  • Nicest

So, which Breeze Airways bundle should you pick?

Ultimately, your bundle will depend on your budget and the add-ons you are willing to pay extra for. That said, there are some traps to be aware of when buying an airline bundle, such as the ones Breeze Airways offers its customers.

Don’t let your behavioral biases influence what bundle to buy. If you have ever flown with a low-cost airline, especially in Europe, like Ryanair, easyJet, Jet2, and Wizz, you will know that a massive percentage of their revenue comes from airfare add-ons.

It is for this reason that airlines want to sell you bundles. They get you to pay more for one bundle over another by taking advantage of your cognitive bias, which is a systematic pattern of deviating from rationality when making a decision.

As individuals, we all create our subjective reality based on our perception of the information we are receiving. When selecting an airline bundle, the trick is to recognize and counteract these biases.

Often, when you see airline bundles, on one of the middle ones, you will see the word “recommended.” Putting recommended in front of the choice triggers a bias called the “compromise effect,” leading customers to select the recommended bundle over the other options.

Purchasing an airline ticket has also become a time-consuming process, and you can speed things up by selecting the recommended bundle. However, if you want to get the bundle that fits your needs, you need to painstakingly look at all of them and decide what you do and do not need.

What Breeze Airways fare bundle is best for you?

The Breeze Airways No Flex Fare

The No Flex Fare is the least expensive of Breeze Airways’ four bundles. It is the best way to get to your destination for the least amount of money. You get one personal item as a carry-on with the No Flex Fare.

If you want a larger carry-on or the ability to select your seat, you must pay extra. With the No Flex Fare, you cannot change your flight, and if you need to cancel for some reason, you can receive a full or partial flight credit depending on how close you cancel to the departure day.

No Flex Fare partial flight credits:

  • 61 or more days before your flight = 100% flight credit
  • 11 to 60 days before your flight = 50% flight credit
  • 1 hour to 11 days before your flight = 25% flight credit
  • Less than 1 hour before your flight = 0% flight credit

The Breeze Airways Nice Fare

The Breeze Airways Nice Fare bundle gives you more flexibility than the No Flex bundle. With the Nice Fare, you get a standard seat, one personal item, and one carry-on. There are no change or cancelation fees with the Nice bundle, and if you need to change your travel plans, you will be given a full flight credit valid for two years.

The Breeze Airways Nicer Fare

If you are looking for a little extra comfort on your flight, the Breeze Airways Nicer Fare bundle might be right for you. With the Breeze Airways Nicer Fare, you get more legroom, and in addition to the personal item and carry-on, you get one piece of checked luggage.

The Nicer Fare also includes priority boarding and free WiFi throughout the flight. The Nicer Fare bundle also allows you to change or cancel your flight at any time without penalty.

The Breeze Airways Nicest Fare

While offering all the perks of the Nicer Fare bundle, Breeze Airways Nicest Fare comes with a roomy 20.5-inch wide seat with a generous recline and a whopping 39 inches of legroom in the Access cabin at the front of the plane.

Breeze Nicest Fare passengers are allowed two pieces of checked luggage, one personal item, and one carry-on. Free WiFi is available throughout the flight, and all snacks and drinks, including alcoholic beverages, are free.
