Considered among the best airport lounge experiences in the country, it is a la carte dining at individual dining tables or at the bar. The Flagship First Dining is currently available at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Miami International Airport (MIA).

American Airlines Flagship First Dining Dallas (DFW)

The American Airlines Flagship First Dining is available within the Flagship Lounge in Terminal D. Passengers can access the lounge located between gates D21 and D22 with a Flagship First Dining invitation. A member of the team shall escort them to the facility.

There is no specific time that guests must enter the dining facility; they can spend their time in the Flagship Lounge and head to the Flagship First Dining when they’re ready to eat. The facility is currently open daily between 12 PM and 10 PM local time.

Access to the lounge

American Airlines Flagship First and Flagship Business customers can access the lounge. According to American Airlines,

“If you’re flying on American Airlines in Flagship® First or Flagship® Business Plus on qualifying international or transcontinental flights, you automatically have access.”

“Departing flight must be marketed and operated by American on the same day (or before 6 a.m. the following day). Customers traveling on airline industry non-revenue tickets are not eligible for access.”

Qualifying international flights

International flights that qualify for the Flagship First Dining are restricted to specific regions, as determined by the airline.

Flights between the U.S. and:

  • Asia
  • Australia
  • Europe
  • Middle East
  • New Zealand
  • South America

Qualifying transcontinental flights

Transcontinental flights that qualify for the Flagship First Dining are restricted based on origin and destination, as well as the type of aircraft passengers are traveling on. It is generally based on which of the airline’s aircraft offer Flagship First and Flagship Business products.

3-class non-stop flights between:

  • New York (JFK) and Los Angeles (LAX)
  • JFK and San Francisco (SFO)
  • JFK and Orange County (SNA) – traveling on A321T aircraft only

  • LAX and Miami (MIA) – traveling on Boeing 777-300 aircraft only

Guests access

American Airlines offers Flagship First International passengers access to a single guest. Notably, children over two years old count as guests. No guests are allowed for Flagship First Transcontinental passengers and Flagship Business Plus passengers.
