PETALING JAYA: No Malaysian airport has been affected by the global IT system outage though several airlines have been hit, says Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB).
In a statement, MAHB urged passengers to check directly with their airlines for updates and instructions on their flights.

“Our network of airports in Malaysia remains unaffected by the global Microsoft outage. However, some of our airline partners are experiencing disruptions due to this issue. Our airport personnel are on-site to assist passengers from these airlines. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help,” it said.
Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) said Malaysia Airlines was not affected by the system outage, and no flights have been cancelled or delayed.
However, it said Firefly’s booking and online check-in systems have been affected, and that the airline was working closely with its service provider to tackle the issue as soon as possible.
MAG is the parent group of Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, MASwings, and AMAL by Malaysia Airlines.
