Budget-friendly airline JetBlue is expanding some services in the Mid-Atlantic, but at the same time, is planning to exit 50 markets.
Here’s what frequent flyers need to know.
Where does JetBlue fly?
Beginning on Thursday, Sept. 5, JetBlue will offer a once-daily flight from Boston to Presque Isle, Maine.

On Sunday, Oct. 27, JetBlue will provide seasonal, once-daily flights from Providence, Rhode Island to Fort Myers and Tampa, Florida.
And on Monday, Oct. 28, JetBlue will begin providing once-daily flights from Providence to Orlando and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
JetBlue will then kick off 2025 with new flights.
On Thursday, Jan. 23, JetBlue will offer daily flights to Fort Myers and Orlando from Manchester, and will start a new route from Manchester to Fort Lauderdale on Friday, Jan. 24.
JetBlue also announced new routes to New York.
“Beginning in October, JetBlue is excited to launch the only nonstop service from Buffalo Niagara International Airport to Palm Beach International Airport on a seasonal basis,” read JetBlue’s press release. “Buffalo and Albany will each see a second daily flight added this winter to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, while Syracuse will get the convenience of a second daily flight to Orlando.”
JetBlue ending flights
JetBlue also plans to exit 50 markets, according to JetBlue’s second quarter 2024 results.
JetBlue didn’t specify which markets it would exit in its quarterly results, but the exits are expected to occur between 2025-2027.
