New fractional ownership program

Volato already offers its HondaJet fleet in an existing fractional ownership program, but it will soon add the legendary Gulfstream G280. The Chief Executive Officer of Volato, Matt Liotta, spoke about the new offering. Liotta stated,

“Our customers’ travel needs are diverse, and while the majority of private aviation missions are efficiently served by the HondaJet, there is significant demand for larger aircraft for longer journeys and bigger groups. The G280 addresses these needs, ensuring we continue to provide the right aircraft for every mission. This addition reinforces our commitment to offering tailored solutions that enhance flexibility and convenience for our customers.”

Volato offers a unique fractional ownership program. Owners are awarded unlimited flying hours and no blackout days that prevent them from flying. Volato also guarantees a minimum revenue share of 650 hours per year. This is guaranteed for both the HondaJet and the Gulfstream G280.

Volato is expecting to take delivery of two Gulfstream G280s by the end of this year. It expects to receive its first super-midsize business jet in August. To help begin marketing this unique jet, Volato is embarking on a multi-city tour that will allow potential buyers to experience the private jet in person. Over the next month, Volato will bring the Gulfstream G280 to the following cities:

  • Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday, August 9th
  • Chicago, Illinois, on Saturday, August 10th
  • Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, August 11th
  • Dallas, Texas, on Monday, August 12th
  • Miami, Florida, on Tuesday, August 13th
  • New York City, New York, on Wednesday, August 14th
  • Houston, Texas, on Thursday, August 15th

The Gulfstream G280 is the smallest aircraft Gulfstream produces. Although Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) actually produces it, Gulfstream owns the type certificate and completes the aircraft at its facility in Dallas, Texas. The G280 can fit a maximum of ten passengers, depending on the configuration. It also has a normal cruise speed of nearly 460 knots (530 miles per hour) and a range of 3,500 nautical miles (4,143 miles), which is extremely competitive in the super-midsize jet category. This allows the aircraft to fly anywhere in the continental United States.
