Only two airlines currently offer direct flights to the island: Air France and Air Austral, both French carriers. Air France operates seven weekly flights with its Boeing 777 widebody aircraft, while Air Austral offers 14 weekly flights, also using Boeing 777s. Air Austral’s main hub is at RUN airport.

currently operates a fleet of nine aircraft, including three Airbus A220s, three Boeing 777-300ERs, two Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, and a single ATR 72-600 turboprop, as per ch-aviation.
