Spirit Airlines is the latest commercial carrier to announce a low-fare, nonstop route from New Orleans to a major city beginning this fall.
On Oct. 10, Spirit Airlines will offer nonstop service between Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) and Charlotte (CLT) for as low as $65.
“We can confirm our new, nonstop service between New Orleans (MSY) and Charlotte (CLT) launches on October 10, 2024,” said Cameryn Junck, senior specialist of media relations via an email to CityBusiness. “This new route will operate 5x weekly (Mon/Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun) and is available now for booking on spirit.com.”
This will be the 15th nonstop route offered by Spirit from MSY, with other nonstop destinations including Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, to name a few.
