About the program

Users of the Decider Custom Analysis Report just need to fill out a simple online form, which they can do from their smartphone. This form includes questions that are relevant to various rules, policies, and pricing preferences that the user agrees to when they sign up for a jet card or fractional program. Some of these questions include the user’s preference for the following variables:

  • Bringing pets onboard
  • Total hours of flight time per year
  • Requirements for departure lead time
  • The need to change plans after booking
  • Ability to avoid peak days, which can carry surcharges, longer lead times to boom and cancel, and the ability of some providers to require up to six-hour warnings for departures
  • Requiring multiple aircraft at the same time
  • The need to downgrade or upgrade aircraft size
  • Type of pricing they prefer (dynamic vs. fixed or capped)
  • Home airport
  • Openness to flying on turboprop aircraft
  • WiFi requirements
  • Specific providers they want to compare or exclude

The Decider Custom Analysis Report also inquires about frequent planned flights that the user intends to operate. This includes flights per year, type of trip, departure and destination airports, and the number of passengers required. All of these different preferences are inputted into the Decider Custom Analysis Report to identify the providers and programs that best fit each individual user’s needs.

What is received from the report?

After the user submits the initial support, they can expect a full report within the next three business days. The report provided by Private Jet Card Comparisons consists of two major components: the new PDF report and an Excel Workbook that provides all the source data that was considered to fulfill the report.

The Decider Custom Analysis Report PDF is full of general information for each of the provider programs that suit the subscriber’s needs based on how they answered the questionnaire. For each of the relevant programs, the report has the company’s general information, including its size, top executives, history, and primary aircraft sourcing model, which may include broker, owned operator, leased operator, fractional ownership, or hybrid, meaning an operator that also uses acts as a broker. It also provides the type of pricing, the type of jet or aircraft, and the recommended program name within each operating company, such as jet card, club membership, or fractional ownership.

Beyond the basic pricing guide section of the report, the Decider Custom Analysis Report also features membership fees and the projected hourly cost per inputted flight. The report also lists if the user can bring a pet onboard, the provider’s carbon emission offsets, and if the provider offers guaranteed WiFi. Other provided data includes:

  • Daily minimums
  • Segment minimums
  • Peak day information
  • Cancellation policies
  • Service areas and surcharges
  • Other company information

This comprehensive report includes all the information necessary to make a decision about a private jet operator or program in one place, making it significantly easier for private jet users to select a provider.

Additional information

The new Decider Custom Analysis Report is set to take the private aviation industry by storm. Beyond ensuring consumers can save time and make the correct choice of a program provider, the new report is a time-saver for salespeople in the industry who appreciate talking to prospects who are already familiar with their programs and are serious buyers.

The President and Editor-in-Chief of Private Jet Card Comparisons, Doug Gollan, spoke about the new program. Gollan stated,

“While flying privately makes travel easy for consumers, finding the right solution has always been time-consuming and hard to compare. Private flyers are busy people, and dozens of companies offer jet cards, memberships, and fractional ownership, each with multiple options. They all have beautiful collateral, but it is hard to compare the rules, policies, and pricing that cover when and where you can fly and how much you will pay for your actual flights.”

Gollan says after subscribers receive the report, they then contact the companies, request proposals, negotiate and make their selection. Private Jet Card Comparisons is available to answer questions. However, it’s up to the user to make a decision, and Gollan says the service doesn’t recommend one company over another. The contracts can be dozens of pages long, and in the case of fractional ownership, there are three separate contracts. Subscriber resources include a list of aviation attorneys and tax specialists who specialize in fractional and jet card agreements.

Gollan also stated,

“In a nutshell, Private Jet Card Comparisons members save time and buy confidently.”

Overall, membership for Private Jet Card Comparisons costs $500 per year, which Gollan compares to the average catering bill for a private flight – an hour of flight time typically ranges from $5,000 to over $20,000. In addition to access to the Decider Custom Analysis Report, members receive one-on-one support, additional premium content, and other benefits. Private Jet Card Comparisons does not accept success or referral fees from the various flight providers, and it does not sell subscriber data. This ensures that there are no promoted providers or programs, and the report is simply based on matching subscriber preferences with data and policies from the providers’ contracts.

Prior to the release of the Decider Custom Analysis Report, subscribers received the filtered spreadsheet and an overview. Gollan says that while subscribers liked the service, the large spreadsheet could only be viewed on a laptop or desktop. The new PDF report enables subscribers to digest the material easily, even from a tablet or smartphone. Subscribers to the website can stay up to date with all major news in the industry beyond comparing the flight pricing or benefits of many private jet providers.
