TrueBlue, through and through

JetBlue’s loyalty program, TrueBlue, is one of the most straightforward frequent flyer programs available today. Instead of earning miles based on the distance flown, TrueBlue members earn points based on the amount spent on their ticket.

This revenue-based earning model makes it easier to understand how much your flights are worth in terms of points, as more expensive tickets will generally yield more points. The table below shows how you can earn TrueBlue points.

Now, what can one do with all these points? Among other redemption avenues, you can book the flight of a lifetime in the Mint cabin!

How many TrueBlue points do you need to book on Mint?

First off, it’s important to know that booking Mint with TrueBlue points can vary based on a number of factors, including the route, the time of booking, and current demand.

While the number of points it takes to book a flight is directly tied to the actual cash fare for the flight at that time, JetBlue operates on a dynamic pricing model, meaning that the number of points required for a Mint seat can fluctuate.

According to Upgraded Points, the TrueBlue program does not operate on award charts – so, passengers are unable to redeem according to a distance-based chart. Therefore, it is impossible to say exactly how many points are needed to book a Mint flight.
