A less-frequently discussed fact about airlines is that many offer differing loyalty perks and sometimes even programs for business travelers. For example, in the United States,

Delta Air Lines recently launched Delta Business Traveler

, a new program that will offer access to a more elevated way of traveling. The new program is made for small business owners, employees of small to mid-size companies, and corporate business travelers.

The new program is complimentary and lets travelers enjoy exclusive

offers as well as those from the airline’s partners. Members of Delta’s SkyMiles loyalty program who have identified themselves as business travelers are eligible to join the new program. Delta Business Traveler differs from SkyMiles for Business because it is targeted at individual travelers, whereas SkyMiles for business is for companies to earn miles on employee travel.

United for Business

United Airlines has a business program called United for Business, which was created for small business travelers. The airline actually calls it a small business travel management tool that allows businesses to book business travel through the app and United website while keeping track of expenses. United does not have a minimum spend or flight requirement. The business program is not limited to small businesses, but also includes midsize businesses, corporate, travel agencies, and groups.
