The t-shirt had an image of former President Donald Trump with both his middle fingers raised and a reference to the viral “Hawk Tuah” meme, the New York Post reported.

A video posted on Reddit showed the man leaving the plane at Sarasota Airport, Florida on Saturday.

“I’m getting kicked off because of my shirt,” the passenger could be heard saying in the video.

The full message on his t-shirt reads “Hawk Tuah spit on that thang,” referring to the viral R-rated meme that took the internet by storm earlier this year.

The meme came from a video clip of content creator Tim & Dee TV interviewing two women on a night out.

The interviewer asked: “What’s one move in bed that makes a man go crazy?”

To which one of the women gave an X-rated response from where the saying “Hawk Tuah” has now come from.

It seems that the R-rated message on the man’s t-shirt was too inappropriate for the Delta Airlines flight.

“Crazy day in Sarasota airport,” the Reddit user said in a comment accompanying the video.

According to the post, a woman had complained about the man’s t-shirt before they boarded the flight and an employee asked him to change his shirt or he would not be allowed on the plane.

“He turned his shirt inside out, and we all boarded,” the post explained.

Next thing I know, right before takeoff, a Delta employee comes on the plane and escorts him off the flight, he had flipped his shirt back to the decal side.

“IDk but I’ve seen way worse… girl half naked boarded and left alone,” the post concluded.

Delta Airlines may refuse to transport a passenger if their “conduct, attire, hygiene or odor creates an unreasonable risk of offense or annoyance to other passengers,” according to their Contract of Carriage.

The U.S. Sun has contacted the airline for comment on this incident.
