Provider of aircraft parts and services to commercial, regional, and business jet operators C&L Aerospace has signed an agreement to sell 737NG inventory owned by REX Airlines in Australia.

Due to REX Airlines entering administration, its fleet of 737 aircraft has been grounded, resulting in this inventory being put up for sale.

The inventory includes a CFM56-7 engine, an auxiliary power unit, landing gear, and other high-demand parts, all originally purchased by REX Airlines to support its now-idle Boeing 737-800 fleet.

Comprising over 100,000 individual parts, the inventory will be marketed globally by C&L Aerospace’s sales team and will soon be available at their warehouse in Bangor, Maine. These parts will also be listed for outright sale on platforms such as ILS, PartsBase, and Aeroxchange.

Chris Kilgour, chief executive of C&L Aviation Group, said: “With our roots in Australia, we have a long-standing relationship with REX. So, C&L was the natural choice to assist in the disposal of these assets. With over 5,000 active 737NG aircraft flying worldwide, this inventory is in high demand.”

The agreement was facilitated by Ernst & Young.
