The airline company said the new service between the Memphis and Fort Lauderdale airports will begin in March 2025.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Attention flyers. Spirit Airlines is launching a nonstop flight from Memphis to Fort Lauderdale in 2025.
The airline company said the new service between Memphis International Airport (MEM) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) will begin March 5, 2025, with nonstop flights becoming available four times a week: Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
“We recently made significant enhancements to our Guest experience, and now we’re excited to add even more value for our Memphis Guests looking to discover a new destination next year,” John Kirby, vice president of Network Planning, said in a press release. “Fort Lauderdale is a great spring getaway with many beaches, golf courses and activities for travelers to enjoy with family and friends.”
The announcement is following Spirit’s transformation launch that offers four new travel options, which the company outlined below:
- Go Big to get enhanced comfort with a Big Front Seat®, one checked and one carry-on bag, priority check-in and boarding, snacks and drinks, including alcoholic beverages, and streaming access to fast Wi-Fi.
- Go Comfy to choose an aisle or window seat with a guaranteed blocked middle seat, one checked and one carry-on bag, priority boarding, a snack and non-alcoholic beverage during each service.
- Go Savvy to get a standard seat selection and a choice of one checked or one carry-on bag.
- Go to keep it simple with the greatest affordability. Standard seat selection, a checked bag and other options can be purchased separately.
The options all come with the flexibility of no change or cancel fees.
